I try to keep up on mine, if I don't I end up swimming in it. I try to do laundry every other day and I actually don't mind folding clothes. I think that is the control freak in me feeling in control of something.
I used to do a load a day and that worked out pretty well. Now the laundry is on the main floor so I have to carry it all down from the bedrooms and it keeps piling up. Its funny how something so little can keep me from being productive. Sigh. Good luck with yours!
Mine is always in a mountain in the corner of my room and I only get around to it when I just can't stand digging for stuff anymore. When your illegal finishes at your house send her over to mine!
You should see my laundry pile. It over tops one couch chair and and is starting to do the same tonight. Its pointless to fold when Ethan is awake, so tonight I will watch TV and fold clothes!
JUST STOP FOLDING! It saves you time a boat load of headaches!
Seriously.
Does your family even appreciate the folded clothes? Mine didn't, and so I stopped.
Get yourself in the habit of sorting it into piles right as it comes out of the dryer (so it doesn't wrinkle) and you don't ever need to fold the laundry again!
Try it!
I had this talk with my boys (all THREE of them) and told them that if they wanted their clothes folded... THEY could do it themselves. I wash their clothes and that's enough.
We left southern Oregon to head up to silver falls to camp with good friends from our ward, not sure if they are happy or if they are just holding on like I was after 6 days of camping!
The girls and Jay
We walked under it... stay tuned for more pics
